iTEBS X* cabling of the latest generation

The latest generation of EBS (iTEBS X) from Knorr Bremse AG is currently being launched on the market. The new iTEBS X family will be available in the variants iTEBS X ECO*, iTEBS X PLUS* and iTEBS X LAC*. The iTEBS X connection concept is realized with HDSCS connectors. The required field test trials have been successfully passed with the elkatec^™ cable versions and have already been transferred and approved as series cabling.

elkatec^™ offers cable solutions for all existing interfaces and provides you with the optimum cabling concept. All cable interfaces on the modulator and on the peripherals are encapsu­lated in the proven elkatec^™ quality and therefore significantly increase performance compared to conventional cable solutions on the market.

Parallel to the new EBS generation, other peripheral systems are also coming into focus.

From July 2024, all newly registered trailers must be equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system. This results in numerous advantages that not only increase safety, but also contribute to cost savings and higher availability of your vehicles. elkatec^™ supplies the appropriate cabling for all common tire pressure monitoring systems (in accordance with the new ECE 141 regulati on).

Newsletter 2/2024 – elkatec^™ iTEBS X* cabling

From July 2024, newly approved trailers must be equipped with tire pressure monitoring systems.

This results in numerous advantages that not only increase safety, but also save costs and increase the availability of your vehicles contribute. elkatec^™ now supplies the appropriate cabling for all common tire pressure control systems (according to the new ECE 141 regulation). For example, new connections from TPMS/RKDS are connected to a wide variety of EBS systems from WABCO/ZF*, Knorr-Bremse AG* or Haldex* and picked up the required signals there.

Newsletter 1/2024 – New connections from TPMS to EBS

As a specialist in innovative cable connections for trucks and trailers, elkatec^™ supplies the right connection to the Wabco* EBS E-Module*. In addition to the proven POWER cable with the innovative elkabrake special plug, the subsystems (SUB) connection cable for telematics for the Wabco* E-Module* is now also available.

elkatec^™ produces individual cable lengths of up to 18m according to your requirements. Different plugs are possible on the second side as required. These include high performance HDSCS connectors and 4-pin. + 7pol. Bayonet connectors and others.

The connecting cables are approved according to the European Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR). elkatec^™ relies on German brand quality and produces according to the highest standards for the security of modern data systems on commercial vehicles.
